Hello Mindworks fans!
I’m thrilled to introduce you to our latest artist joining the roster in the Signature Series!
For those of you visiting for the first time, let me explain what the Signature Series is all about: it’s our flagship collection where we celebrate some of the finest artists in the realms of fantasy and sci-fi art. We showcase their incredible work through some of our favorite mediums, including Miniatures, Art Prints, and Books!
This series is a true labor of love, born from our unwavering passion for crafting and the artistry of talented creators.
Now, without further ado, I’m excited to present our new addition:
BJORN HURRI!
"Björn Hurri is a 20 year veteran of the entertainment art industry that has worked on well over 150 games. He has had the pleasure to aid in the creation of many hallmark titles such as God of war series, Total War series, Dungeons and Dragons, Diablo 2 and Diablo 4, Wizards of the Coast, Dishonored, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon Zero Dawn, Lrds of the Fallen, League of Legends, Alien isolation, Love Death and Robots Season 3 and many many more beloved titles."
After many years of creating work for others and those being celebrated and featured in a wide range of media, Bjorn decided to take a shot at making his own world so he partnered up with Spiridon Giannakis, the creator of many art books, and released his first venture into the art book world called Abominations.
The start of it all was due to research and development for an art style that would suit God of War Ragnarok I had developed and that ended up in a world which was an attempt at creating a darker tone to fantasy.
Over the years Björn has continued to craft his dark world and released the work into three books, Abominations, ORO, and CLANS. Time to say goodbye to the "men in tights" archetype and say hello to a gruesome ghouls, vampires, orcs, demons, dark elves, and troubled humans in the universe of ORO!
